The tiger fixers are optical instruments intended to be installations of various fixed and fixable materials that open to moments of dizziness and hesitation, other visions that overlap unexpectedly going to interrupt and stop, of motionless devices that are hidden waiting to be observed, unrecognizable animals that want to become visible. The tiger fixers give shape to that culminating moment described by Cortazar, in which man and animal find themselves observing each other in a contact column through which they can see otherness.
